Janice Spencer-Owen

Janice is a corporate and commercial lawyer with regulatory experience in telecommunications and technology, with expertise in software licensing, cloud services, hardware, privacy, and data protection.

Janice has extensive experience in reviewing and advising on digital media campaigns and drafting contests, promotion and sponsorship agreements. She drafts and negotiates partnership and sales agreements and a broad range of commercial transactions, including third party supplier agreements, partnership and advertising deals.

She assists clients with technology, media and telecommunications related commercial and corporate transactions, including Cloud services, hosting, software and data licensing, and systems integration. Janice provides advice on the legal implications of new product and service launches, including regulatory approvals and competition law risks. Her work includes reviewing and advising on cyber security, privacy and cross-border data transfer issues, drafting and negotiating payment agreements with Financial Services firms, and licensing agreements.
