Esia is a seasoned commercial, real estate, leasing and regulatory lawyer. She has extensive experience handling leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, financing and land development.

Esia has advised clients involved in a variety of business transactions. She has acted on behalf of a diverse client base negotiating commercial, retail, industrial and residential lease agreements. Esia also assists business clients with various commercial agreements including service, distribution, manufacturing and supply agreements.
As in-house legal counsel at Hydro One, Esia has solid knowledge of the electricity industry. She provided strategic direction and legal advice to Hydro One’s various business units including the facilities and real estate division, asset management and planning division, and regulatory division. Esia also has significant experience in the solar/renewable energy field and has worked on many Ontario FIT program arrangements.
