Connie is a corporate and commercial lawyer with experience in professional services, information technology, and intellectual property law.

At Caravel Law, Connie works with a number of clients on commercial, information technology, and intellectual property legal matters, including advising on and drafting software licences, hardware purchase agreements, sponsorship agreements, consulting agreements, professional services agreements, and marketing agreements.

Her clients have included Toronto-Dominion Bank, Amex Bank of Canada, the Canadian Cancer Society, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, and Economical Mutual Insurance Company.

As in-house legal counsel, Connie was responsible for the Canadian intellectual property portfolio of PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP and advised on all intellectual property matters at PwC, including copyright and trade-mark usage and protection in sponsorship and other marketing endeavours. She represented PwC in negotiations with lessors on major commercial real estate leases and advised on new corporate structures and the development of new areas of business. Connie also advised on all aspects of internal operational matters, including a variety of services agreements, partnership matters, financing matters, and the development of a charitable foundation.

Connie has negotiated and drafted commercial agreements related to information technology, actuarial services, security, consulting services, telecommunications services, software licence, hardware purchase, and hosting agreements. She has advised on corporate branding and intellectual property matters, as well as on the legal aspects of outsourcing arrangements of mainframe operations.
