Bernadine MacAulay

Bernadine is a senior corporate lawyer with experience across various industries. She has specific expertise in labour and employment matters.

At Caravel Law, Bernadine advises employers on contracts, legislation, collective agreements, and a variety of other legal issues.

Bernadine has been responsible for representing employers’ interests in both union and non-union sectors. She has developed and delivered policies and supervisory training programs in the areas of labour relations strategies, health and safety, employee discipline, attendance management, substance abuse prevention, performance management, and human rights.

As in-house counsel to Scotia Investments Limited’s operating companies, Bernadine negotiated, drafted, and provided advice in relation to various commercial agreements in the manufacturing, renewable energy, and real property sectors. She worked on a wide range of agreements, including supply, design build, purchasing, technology, services, project management, real estate, and licensing.
