Tyler is a business-savvy and practical lawyer focusing on the wide spectrum of matters typically confronted by corporate counsel, including commercial, employment, technology, outsourcing, and legal operations matters. Tyler has considerable experience in providing advice to international business teams, and has provided counsel to operations in more than 50 countries with a particular focus on Central and South America. Tyler has been recognized with a number of national awards including for excellence and business / legal leadership by groups including the Canadian Corporate Counsel Association, the Canadian General Counsel Awards and the Rotman School of Management.

Alter Ego:

Tyler is a terrible golfer, so had to switch sports. Now an amateur cyclist, Tyler loves to connect with the outdoors and experience the sights, sounds and smells of Atlantic Canada from his bike. This year’s goal is to ride a total of 2,000kms. For the past several years, Tyler has participated in an annual ride that he helps organize in support of finding a cure for cancer. Over the years, the ride has ranged in length from 100-162kms and has raised over $50,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society.
