Robin Dodokin

Robin is a senior litigator with expertise in civil and commercial litigation, business disputes, insolvency matters, and mediation.

At Caravel Law, Robin provides legal and strategic advice in all aspects of litigation from reviewing a client’s case and outlining the client’s options after a consideration of the client’s business and legal objectives, negotiating settlements and representing parties in the litigation process.

Robin has represented shareholders, financial institutions, court appointed officers, debtors, companies, owners, and individuals. She has extensive experience in the Superior Court of Justice and Toronto Commercial List, commencing and litigating court proceedings to obtain court orders for injunctive relief; appointing and representing receivers; acting for parties to set aside fraudulent conveyances; attack preferences; trace proceeds and pursue fraudsters; have the court determine priorities between stakeholders; as well as obtain damages and other remedies. In addition, she has expertise in representing business partners and shareholders, litigating business and shareholder disputes including seeking oppression and winding up and all related remedies.

Robin is also experienced in using her conflict resolution skills as a litigator and/or mediator in respect of business, contractual, and professional liability disputes. She is a conflict resolution expert who is committed to assisting parties repair and preserve relationships, wherever possible and through the courts when necessary. She works in association with Caravel Law and is also the founder of her own firm Dodokin law & Conflict Resolution.
