David is an experienced senior corporate counsel with a focus on the industrial and retail sectors. Most recently, he was General Counsel at Home Depot of Canada where he directed a wide variety of legal and regulatory matters, including corporate and commercial law, labour and employment law, competition law, privacy law, litigation management, corporate compliance, FCPA oversight and compliance, real estate law, construction law and intellectual property law. David began his illustrious legal career as a Law Clerk to Supreme Court of Canada judge Mr. Justice Willard Z. Estey.
David is a fitness buff and former champion power lifter who once held a Guinness world record in a very obscure category. He also loves to watch movies (he even wrote movie reviews in his law school newspaper) and travel the world – a passion that has led him to over 50 countries!
