Cameron is a senior lawyer with significant experience in a wide range of corporate/commercial matters, including franchising, commercial leasing, public company management, and corporate governance.
At Caravel Law, Cameron works with a number of clients on corporate, commercial, franchising, commercial leasing, and corporate governance legal matters, including drafting, reviewing, and revising vendor agreements with national and private brands, software licences, hardware purchases, distribution agreements, consulting agreements, financing agreements, office leases, franchise agreements, pension agreements, facilities management agreements, confidentiality agreements, and other retail-related agreements. He also reviews and advises on leasing and franchise legal matters in corporate transactions.
His clients have included Torstar, Katz Group Canada (Rexall/PharmaPlus), Schwartz Chemical, the Canadian Standards Association, Primus Telecommunications and GE Canada.
Previously, as Senior Vice President and General Counsel, Cameron led the Canadian Tire legal department in all operational aspects and was responsible for all director and shareholder meetings and disclosure documents. He developed and oversaw the Enterprise Risk Management Program, legislative compliance, the Privacy Office and the Business Conduct Compliance Office.
